If you’ve been to Google today(Obviously, you have how can you have a day not being to Google) you must have noticed that Google home page looked little different. No it’s not the Google Doodle I’m talking about, it’s the Google Search Box Size.
In the Official Google Blog, Marissa Mayer, Google’s vice president for search products and user experience, said the simple change to the company’s home page “symbolizes” its “focus on search.
If you are not convinced there is a change in Google home page, see the difference for your self.
Like Google’s this change won’t go unnoticed, so as Microsoft’s challenge with it’s rival search engine, BING. PCMAG write that search engine market rose from 8.4 to 8.9 for Bing. It may hardly noticeable search giant, but increasing search box size might be, google’s way of polishing up its arsenal.
